WEDDING TRENDS: FALL 2019

Fall 2019 Wedding Trends

Fall Wedding Trends

From mirrored aisles to the new floral “arch”, we’ve compiled our list of this fall’s favorite wedding trends.

Drink Displays for Escort cards

Whether it’s a copper-cupped Moscow Mule or a simple glass of bubbly, couples are hanging their drinks or displaying them on tiered shelving, using them as a new version of escort cards. We had gold acrylic stirrers made for each glass of champagne so guests could find their seats and sip in style.

Uniquely shaped Ceremony arches

Taking cues from nature, brides are using different elements and shapes to create their ceremony arches as opposed to the classic arch or chuppah. We’re loving the way some of these look like they are growing from the ground or how others hang flowers, rings, or wheat. Most recently, we continued the aisle runner flowers to create a semi-circle design to serve as a beautiful garden backdrop for our September bride & groom.

Incorporating gourds, squash, and pumpkins that are everything but orange

Brides want to create an autumnal feel without it being overly orange or looking like Halloween, so we’re seeing sage-colored squash and ivory gourds incorporated into table displays or backdrops

Lots of lanterns, candles, and twinkling hanging lights

With the days getting shorter and sunset happening earlier, couples are opting for more romantic lighting options such as lanterns, candles in hurricane vases, and strands of hanging fairy lights. Our favorite is these hanging twinkle lights, custom-designed and made to create a starry night effect over this dazzling dance floor.

Vintage transportation

While some couples opt for the Rolls Royce or NYC taxi cab, we see our fall couples choosing more rustic or old-school options with vintage pickup trucks, remodeled VW vans, or classic muscle cars. Why not rent a red Ford Mustang to rev up your photos and surprise your guests as you enter looking like James Dean and a Hollywood starlet?

Mirrored Aisles

Fabric or cloth runners are out, and full-on mirrored aisles are in. Brides and grooms are loving the look of having their wedding runway be a total show stopper. This trend is a serious upgrade from the traditional options, but it adds some serious wow factor to make your ceremony truly stand out.
