LLG Pro-Bono Wedding

Fall-Pro-Bono-Wedding-New-Jersey

How do you give a wedding of a lifetime?

This is never an easy question to answer, as every couple and wedding is different. Each couple has their own story, their quirks that make them unique, as well as their own life experiences that shape them and ultimately define who they are as a couple. A wedding is a reflection of the couple and the life they want to live together, and Jillian and Max were no exception.

We learned of Jillian and Max’s story after LLG Events hosted a brunch for the Breastie’s in honor of a family member from our last pro-bono wedding. Bianca, one of the NYC Breastie’s Ambassadors, told us about Jillian and the amazing love story between her and Max. Additionally, we learned how wedding planning had become a struggle and they did not know where to start. Instantaneously I knew that Jillian and Max would become our next pro-bono wedding of the year.

I’ll never forget the moment we told Jillian and Max that we were gifting them our services for their wedding. Their reaction was heartfelt, genuine and so special. It’s a moment that’s imprinted in my memory forever. When we told Jillian that Kenneth Winston gifted her dream wedding dress, I cried alongside her. I knew it was the one thing she wanted, as she felt the most beautiful in that gown. Gathering a team of vendors who also wanted to give back was actually fairly easy. So many vendors reached out once we announced our pro-bono wedding of the year, and I cannot even begin to thank everyone for their kindness. These are vendors who work tirelessly throughout the week and weekends however when we approached them about Jillian and Max, there was absolutely no hesitation, everyone was on board, committed and it was full speed ahead with wedding planning. We spent the year planning everything with Jillian and Max, from the menu tasting at 618 Restaurant to the floral designs with House of Bloom, to the engagement session with Susan Shek Photography. Each vendor played a critical role and provided the best of themselves and their services. We now have a full charitable vendor list that we will make public on our website so other couples can work with wedding vendors who make giving back a priority in their business.

Every couple deserves the wedding of their dreams, and our pro-bono wedding gives us a chance to find couples who have experienced life challenges way too soon and have put a community or cause above themselves. Our pro-bono wedding is a chance for everyone to gather in one place, share one love, and celebrate life on a momentous occasion with a stellar team of vendors.

Every year the LLG Events team looks forward with such excitement and anticipation at who will be our next couple, and we are so excited to officially open up our nominations for LLG Event’s 2020 pro-bono wedding of the year!! If you know of a couple who is struggling with their wedding planning, has put a cause or community above themselves, and can benefit from a dream wedding, nominate them below!

We look forward to meeting our 2020 couple and to Jillian and Max - CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN!!! WE LOVE YOU!! Cheers to a life of health, happiness, and love!

All our love, Team LLG
